NFM Establishes Technology Center of Excellence in Norway

NFM is pleased to announce the opening of the newest member of the Group, NFM Technology, in Ski, Norway. This R&D hub is the Technical Center of Excellence of the NFM Group, dedicated to the development of pioneering protection technologies.

Earning our reputation as a leader in our field, NFM is involved in several cutting-edge projects, including next generation hard ballistic solutions developed in partnership with FFI (Norwegian Defense Research Establishment) as well as several Soldier Modernization programs around the world. NFM Technology will serve as the focal point for both NFM’s own research, and for all the work we do in coordination with the international research and academic institutes we cooperate with.

Additional functions the Innovation Centre in Ski will perform include managing NFM’s considerable Intellectual Property portfolio, housing our in-house testing facilities and providing a central point for our work with strategic suppliers.

With the establishment of NFM Technology, NFM is reaffirming its commitment to our values of innovation and the highest standards of Scandinavian craftsmanship that have underpinned our success so far.
